UHE Celebrates International Day of Happiness

The University of Home Economics (UHE) marked the International Day of Happiness.The seminar was organized in collaboration with the SOS Save Our Society Foundation and the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at UHE.

Dr. Shaista Sohail, CEO of SOS Foundation, led the session, highlighting initiatives to promote well-being and practical community engagement.

Dr. Munazza Rashid, Director ORIC welcomed the distinguished guest on behalf of Vice Chancellor Dr. Zaib-un-nisa Hussain reinforcing the university’s vision of integrating social responsibility into education.

Discussions focused on awareness programs and practical projects aimed at creating a happier and healthier society.

SOS Foundation, the development and welfare arm of the SOS Group of Companies, is actively working with UHE to establish a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

This collaboration will offer internships and future opportunities to students, ensuring their professional growth and active contribution to societal well-being.
