South Korean Universities to Offer Scholarships to UHE Students

In a significant development for international academic cooperation, the Honourable Minister for Higher Education Punjab, Mr. Rana Sikandar Hayat, announced that ten leading universities from South Korea will extend scholarships to students of the University of Home Economics (UHE), Lahore. These scholarships will support advanced studies in the fields of Aesthetics, Robotic Arms, and Aviation.
This milestone reflects the commitment of the Punjab Government—under the progressive leadership of Chief Minister Ms. Maryam Nawaz—to foster global partnerships in higher education and create transformative opportunities for youth.
Prof. Dr. Zaib-un-nisa Hussain, Vice Chancellor of UHE, expressed her deep gratitude to the Chief Minister and the Minister for Higher Education for recognizing the potential of UHE students and including them in this international initiative.
She emphasized that this collaboration marks a new chapter in academic excellence and global engagement for the university.
It is pertinent to mention that the delegation of Korean Universities paid a visit to UHE and had interaction with the students and faculty.
