UHE Organises Dialogue on Women Employment and Workplace Legislation
The Department of Textile and Fashion Design with the collaboration with GIZ-WE and Women Development Department organized a talk session on ” The Gender Talk…A Discussion around Women Employment and workplace Legislationâ€.
Prof. Dr. Zaib-un-nisa Hussain, Vice-Chancellor of UHE also attended the session.
Ms. Falahat Imran president of Women chamber of Commerce, highlighted the importance of Women Employment among students.
Dr. M. Aman Ullah being the Project Manager of United Nations development express his gratitude towards UHE on organizing such fruitful event.
Ms. Sohabia from GIZ-WE was the moderator of discussion panel along with the Mentors Panel, including MS. Sidra, Deputy Director Samad Textiles, MS Mahvish Khan from Idea Think Tank, Ms. Saima Imran from Sarena textiles and Ms. Qurat Ul Ain from US Apparel.
The panel gave brief insight on industry job opportunities for fresh graduates and strengthen career path.
Ms. Saquiba Aziz, Component Manger of GIZ-WE present the souvenir to Worthy Vice Chancellor Dr. Prof. Zaib-un-Nisa Hussain and express her pleasure on this collaboration with UHE.
Ms. Nosheen Zaidi, Head of Department of Textile and Fashion Design, thanked her faculty member, GIZ_WE and Women Development Department for their efforts to organizing such event.
