UHE to Celebrate International Women’s Day with Mega Event

Lahore (Tuesday, March 4, 2025): The University of Home Economics (UHE) is set to commemorate International Women’s Day 2025 with a grand event on March 6, aligning with this year’s global theme, “Accelerate Action.”

A preparatory meeting, chaired by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zaib-un-nisa Hussain, was held in the committee room to finalize arrangements. She emphasized the importance of active student participation in all activities, ensuring an enriching learning experience.

UHE will organize a conference aimed at highlighting strategies, resources, and actions that drive women’s progress. The “Accelerate Action” theme serves as a global call to recognize and promote impactful initiatives for women’s empowerment.

The meeting was attended by Registrar Ms. Madiha Naz, Director Student Affairs Dr. Iram Rubab, and other committee members.
