Women Empowerment in Higher Education Program (WEMP) Training

The University of Home Economics (UHE), Lahore, successfully hosted the Women Empowerment in Higher Education Program (WEMP) training 2025, a flagship initiative by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zaib-un-nisa Hussain and convenorship of Dr. Munazza Rashid, the program aimed to foster leadership, mentoring, and professional development among women in academia.
The training comprised five structured modules targeting key areas of personal and professional growth, with participation from 10 mentors and 46 mentees successfully completed the training.
This initiative reflects UHE’s commitment to promoting gender equity and empowering women leaders in higher education.
